The Wellness Center is now open five days a week and available to all students throughout the school year. The mental health of young people is closely linked to academic success. By keeping the Wellness Center open during school hours, students struggling with a mental health or relational issues have a place to go to get support.
Introducing a regular mindfulness practice provides a safe space for students to unwind and quiet their bodies and minds. This 8-week program strengthens self-awareness and cultivates more presence with what‘s going on internally and externally. It can also help them develop healthy mental habits and build compassion for others.
